Goofball Sk8boards was created by Joan & Harper Rose to foster a safe and sober space centering beginner and under-represented skaters. Both goofy in stance and character, the name Goofball represents the low-stakes fun of skating with a supportive group of friends.

Highly critical of skate culture’s more toxic aspects, the Roses wanted to create a more inclusive skate culture available to anyone who wants to learn to skate.

At Goofball Sk8, we want to be more than a skate shop and park. We want to be a valuable addition to our community. As folks who have felt excluded from skate culture, we want this space to be, surprisingly, welcoming to everyone.
